Co- founder Arlie researches antarctic marine invasions, particularly how ships may play a role in spreading invasive species.
She is a post-doctoral researcher at the Helmholtz Institute for Functional Marine Biodiversity (HIFMB) and the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in Germany.

Co- founder Jes is a terrestrial ecologist who studies climate change and anthropogenic impacts on vulnerable ecosystems, whether invading plants and insects at the poles, or deforestation in the Amazon. But most days you can find her from her home base in Trondheim, Norway.

Christy Hehir
Based at the University of Surrey, Christy is a psychologist and tourism expert who specialises in polar tourism and behaviour change for environmental conservation.

Jasmine is an Antarctic conservation scientist working at the British Antarctic Survey. She aims to better understand how Antarctic biodiversity is threatened and what we can do about it!

Alice Pullen
Our very own illustrator, Alice, is an ex-palaeontologist and polar ecologist who works as a marine mapmaker at the Marine Management Organisation (MMO). They bring all our ideas to (slightly terrifying) life!
