Yes! The Arctic and Antarctic regions are under threat from aliens. No, not little green men from Mars, but alien species. That is invasive species from other regions of the world. Antarctica is the last true wilderness left on the planet but with climate change and an increase of human visitors, the unique and fragile ecosystems of the polar regions are under threat.

Polar Alien Hunters is a new public education and science communication initiative that will highlight the risks of transporting alien species to Antarctica and the polar regions, and educate visitors on ways to keep themselves and their own 'spaceships' alien free!

We will be releasing fun and educational comics in the near future, and will be working with tour and national programe operators in the Antarctic to get our materials to as many visitors as possible.
